About the Name
In the Stanford Marshmallow Experiment of 1972, researchers gave a group of children a choice: they could have one marshmallow to eat immediately, or wait for a period of time and receive two marshmallows. The researchers followed up on the children’s progress as they grew older and discovered a correlation between success and delayed gratification: children who had learned patience were more successful.

The same applies to writing. Wanting a perfect result now, now, now is a great way to make sure you don’t write a word. Quality results require an investment. Always. If you want your words to resonate and stay with your reader long after they’ve stopped looking at the page, then you will need to put in the effort.

It’s both a very simple and very challenging principle. The rewards, however, are worth it. I named my business Two Marshmallows to remind me that care and dedication are the way to achieve my goals, both in the short-term and in the future.

I also just really like marshmallows.
